From Southall, West London to stages across the world, Jagwinder Singh Dhaliwal, known everywhere as Juggy D, has always done it his way.
By 2003, he and his collaborators Jay Sean and Rishi Rich had created Urban Desi, a genre nobody had a name for yet, fusing the raw pulse of Bhangra with R&B and pop. Before algorithms. Before viral moments. Before any of it was a strategy. It was just music that felt true.
His debut album in 2004 made history as the first Punjabi-language album to enter the UK National Charts. His voice has featured alongside Craig David, Mary J. Blige, and Ricky Martin. He has performed across the UK, India, Dubai, and the US. He has won at the UK Asian Music Awards and the Brit Asia TV Music Awards. And through all of it, he has remained exactly who he is bold, real, and unapologetically Desi.
But Juggy’s story does not stop at the stage. After battling alcohol addiction publicly and choosing sobriety, he turned his hardest chapter into his most powerful one. That journey led to Reborn 7, his wellness retreat help people break addiction at the root, not just the surface. Fast, focused, and built from lived experience. Because he knows what it takes to get free, and now he is helping others do the same.
